Lotus leaf cloud

When you look into a pond where floating lotus leaves are, you might see the blue sky and clouds reflected in the water. By visualizing the way the lotus leaves and clouds become one, this installation express the sky and the earth meet on the water. Indivisual unit of the cloud has lotus leaf shape, and it's made of Hanji - Korean traditional paper.
 

맑은 날, 연잎이 떠 있는 연못을 들여다 보면 물에 비친 하늘과 구름을 볼 수 있을 것이다. 연잎과 구름이 하나가 된 모습을 시각화 함으로써 물 위에서 하늘과 땅이 만남을 표현하였다. 구름의 개별 단위는 연잎 모양으로 한지로 만들었다.
